Obituary of Helen Koroknai

Passed away after a courageous battle on May 8, 2018 at the age of 84. Predeceased by her husband Frank Koroknai (2002).  Loving mother of Helen (Elek) Bohan and Erika (Alborz) Niaraki.  Cherished grandmother of Monika (Tobin), Thomas, Adam, Michael and great grandmother of Harlow.  Survived by her sister-in-law Sophie Nagy.  Helen will be lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, family, friends and the Hungarian community. 

Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595 on Friday, May 11^th from 12:00-2:00pm.  A Service to Celebrate Helen’s life will be held in the DeStefano Chapel at 2:00pm.  Interment to follow. 

In lieu of flowers, please make donation to Pancreatic Cancer Canada, it remains one of the most seriously underfunded cancers.
