Daina, you we're not only the loving, beautiful wife of my brother but the mother of two beautiful girls.
You were like a sister to me, you will always be loved and remembered as someone who always cared for other people in a loving and compassionate way.
Our hearts are broken on earth, but I know you are now at peace with your mother and father and will be that guardian angel to Len and your girls for the rest of their lives.

We were shocked and saddened to hear the news of Daina's passing. She was too young to leave us.
But as a devout Christian, she is now in heaven. She is re-united with her parents and pets who have passed on. She leaves behind a legacy of 2 beautiful daughters and an amazing grandson. We will always remember her and love her. She will not be forgotten. Rest in peace, Dear Daina, until we all meet again in heaven. Death is not the end, but a new beginning. Precious memories. I remember conversations with my dear Daina. She told me her favourite singer Loren Daigle , the song "You Say".I play it often. Thank you for two beautiful grand-daughters and a sweet great grandson. "Safe in the arms of Jesus, gentle her soul will rest". Never to be forgotten by your mom-in-law Lydia Kalonka. Don has known Lenny from the age of 5 and Daina from teenage years. I met you both in 1997. You opened your arms and heart and welcomed me instantaneously into your best friend group. You were beautiful, and energetic with a vibrant love for life, and a big personality. Your heart was even bigger. You have left such an imprint on our lives. A generous, loving, selfless soul whose light on earth may have gone but it will shine brighter from above and in the hearts of everyone you touched. Your girls have that same big heart and are only an example of the legacy you leave behind, one we will never forget. Daina was a bright light in our lives. Anyone who let her into their life was touched by her great capacity for love and kindness. She shone brightest when speaking about her daughters Alaina and Rachael. Everything that she did was with the happiness of others in mind. I have so many fond memories of laughter and her beautiful smile. She touched me with her capacity to care for and accept the less fortunate in our society. She thought nothing of giving her last dime to the less fortunate, and offering them words of kindness. I thank God for the opportunity to be her friend because she taught me so much about forgiveness, kindness and compassion, a gift that she received from her precious mother. Now that she is resting happily in the arms of her parents, I feel comfort in knowing that when I look up at the stars, she will be one of the brightest, shining down on us, to let us know that her love is forever. I love you my sweet friend and will hold you dear in my heart forever. You made this world a beautiful place.
