Lieve Rikki, van harte gecondoleerd met het verlies van jou grote liefde Ad, "Stippi".
Zojuist heb ik jullie afscheid dienst kunnen meebeleven en ben ontroerd door de warmte waarmee iedereen over Ad sprak. Wat een prachtige familie hebben jullie en daar hebben Ad en jij voor gezorgd. Jammer genoeg heb ik Ad maar een paar keer mee kunnen maken, maar daaruit herken ik helemaal wat jouw kinderen over hem vertelden. Ik herinner me ook dat hij altijd een vrolijk gezicht had en als er Nederlandse volksliedjes te horen waren was Ad degene die als hardste meezong!
Na vele jaren intensieve zorg voor Ad zal de komende tijd niet makkelijk voor je zijn. Maar met zoveel lieve mensen om je heen hoop ik dat je ook weer mooie dagen zult beleven. Ik wens je veel sterkte. Ik hoop dat Annie en spoedig weer in de gelegenheid zullen zijn om jou persoonlijk te ontmoeten.

When I think of my uncle ‘Ome Ad’, I think of a kind, generous, sharing and caring man with always a big smile on his face.
