Condolences to Gordon's family. He sounds like a wonderful man. I didn't meet Gordon but, as a researcher, I have discovered that Gordon travelled on the famous Empire Windrush when it came to England from the West Indies in 1948. As such he is an important part of history. Gordon died the day after Windrush Day 2022, I'm very sad I didn't find Gordon sooner (he was passenger number 777) it would have been lovely to have his recollections of the journey and his life. I'm happy to share what I found with the family. God bless.

We are sending our prayers and condolences to all Gord's family and friends. We lived at 64 util 2018 and Gordon was a very nice neighbour. We always saw him going for his walks,he was always friendly and willing to chat. May he RIP Aldo and Kim Piccioni
