Obituary of Louise Biro

Biro: Louise (nee Bleiziffer)

September 26, 1926 – October 12, 2022

Peacefully passed away at Hillsdale Terrace after celebrating her 96^th birthday.  Louise leaves behind her husband of 76 years, Alex. Her Daughter Barb (Ron), Grandchildren Tara (Dejan), Brad (Alicia), and her two most beautiful Great Grandchildren Erica and Mila.   Louise is the last of her family, predeceased by her parents John and Barbara, and three Brothers John, Mike, and Tony. Survived by her sister-in-law Rose. 

Born in St. Anna Romania, Louise came to Canada when she was 12, living on a farm in Quebec, then moving to Montreal in her teens. At 19 years of age, she married Alex, and they built their life together in Oshawa.  Louise was a stay-at-home mom who had neighbours and people who passed by stopping and complimenting her on the aromas coming from her kitchen with her tasty meals and excellent baking. 

Thank you to all of the staff at Hillsdale Terrace, (Ocean View) who loved and cared for her, you know who you are!

A Private family service was Held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive in Oshawa (905) 440 3595 and was followed by entombment at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
