Grandma Motts What to say when you’re lost for words. When the woman who was so steady and constant in my life has now passed away. I was only a child when I was left out in the cold world and for a brief moment , life was really scary but then somehow God led me to you. You opened your door to me when no one else was there , fed me, kept a roof over my head when I had nowhere to go and took care of me when I was sick and after each of my kids were born. The little things you did I will never forget , Nancy Grace , So many talk shows ! dry weather goats , how someone’s face was always twist up like grandmas backside lol , the muffins and pop that you hid and then shared with me , the $50 you would slip me when I was 13 (telling me not to tell anyone :) ) , the amazing soup you made for me when I was sick , every holiday spent together , every time you watched my kids as I trudged through the snow to take one of them to school , watching Sarah throughout my time in school and while attending hockey with isaiah , how you prayed when Isaiah was hit by a car, how you always prayed I’m sure for us all, the groceries you would bring me from Knob Hill when Kane and I lived alone ….this list could go on and on and on !!!!! Thanks for everything you did for me , teaching me how to cook and raise my kids, thanks for Ryan and the peace I felt when I was around you. Thanks for keeping your door open and all of your love you gave to me. I will be forever grateful. Towards the end I remember you said you could get up the stairs if we help you . You take one side , I take one side and we go . So for now I will hold onto faith that we will meet again and the family you left behind , I will take one side and they will take one side and we will keep going until we meet again Lady !
