Obituary of Fiorina Latin

Fiorina Maria Latin (nee: Cupelli) passed away with her family by her side on Tuesday May 2, 2023, at the age of 83. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 63 years, Silvio. Cherished mother of Michael (Linda), Marco (Kim), and predeceased by her Baby Boy, Andrew. Adored Nonna to her girls, Christina (Matthew), Michelle (Joshua), Victoria (Collin), Marisa, and Fiorina “Nina”, and her great-grandbabies Holden, Asher, Noah, Evelyn, and Sophie. She will be remembered as a wonderful sister, sister-in-law, Zia, cousin, and friend. Her kitchen was famous for every kind of meal, always hearty and always delicious. Proud volunteer of over 40 years of the Auxiliary of Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home 1289 Keith Ross Drive in Oshawa (905)440 3595 on Sunday May 7^th from 6:00pm – 9:00pm.  A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church at 10:30am Monday May 8^th. Entombment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Whitby. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Fiorina’s name to Ronald McDonald House Charities. The family extends their sincere thanks to all the staff from the ICU Unit of the Ajax Pickering Hospital.
