Peacefully at his home, with his wife by his side, on Friday, August 8, 2014, at the age 56. Beloved husband of Catherine (nee Barney) and the late Melody (nee Boyd). Loving father of Misty (Michael) and Matt (Melissa). Loved son of Joyce and the late Al. Cherished granddad of Tamara, Connor, Annalise, and Faith. Dear brother of Nick (Gail) and Mark (Terry). He will also be missed by his extended family and many friends. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road)905-440-3595 on Sunday, August 17th from 2-4 & 6-8pm. A Service to Celebrate Chris’ life will be held in the DeStefano Chapel on Monday August 18th at 2pm. At Chris' request, memorial donations may be made to the Terry Fox Foundation.
