In lovely memory of my aunty Barbara who I will miss inccredibly. She had just as beautiful, warm eyes as her syster Anica who was my mum. When I thalk with aunty on the phone I enjoy her lovely Bela krajina Slovenia accent that remainded me of my mother.
Barbara was one of the most kind soul. I loved her very much, not only because she was my mother's younger sister, but also because she was good-hearted, wonderful woman, always encouraging and full of life. In a way, she was my role model who showed me that you can solve everything can with a positiv spirit.
Memories which we create will never die. I will cheris it in my heart.
Thank you aunty Barbara for everything, rest in peace.

We didn't spend enough time together so I cherish every single moment.
In September 2019, my daughter Tjasa and I were on a visit at aunt Barica’s house. Barica was an excellent host. The table was always full of everything. She spoiled us too much. All of us. Of course, me and Tjasa gained weight.
We talked a lot about our lives, good and bad times… About loved ones we’ve lost. We cried together, we comforted one another.
It was wonderful on our road trips.
In the evenings, sometimes we laughed so hard that our stomach hurt.
We had such a great time together.
Barica was sunshine, even on a rainy day.
Dear aunt Barica, I will keep you alive in my heart with all the memories that we share. I hope you’re already in the arms of an angel… Our angel Irene. Someday, somewhere... We’ll meet again.

Barbara you were a wonderful person with a kind heart and helped many. I enjoyed volunteering in the kitchen at Holiday Gardens when you were in charge of events. You were very generous to my mom, Nada Otavnik, after she had her stroke. You delivered flowers, baked goods, and beautiful meals that were very much appreciated. Your kindness will never be forgotten. You will be so sadly missed by many.
