My grandpa will be remembered for his resourcefulness; always tinkering away at a motor or something mechanical. The toonies he would sneak me were more than gifts; they carried his memory from his heart into my piggy bank. The way he said "you kidding" will stick with me, as an endearing catchphrase. He used it more frequently nearing the end of his life as he regained a child-like innocence for the world.
Grandpa kept seemingly every photo and newspaper clipping, which I later collected in frames around my apartment. I called the latter collage "Grandpa and Cars".
Sleep well, Grandpa. Rest in Peace.

My heartfelt condolences to Joe’s family.
I met Joe by chance over 10 years ago because my maiden name was also Nagy.
Over the years we spoke often, a long distance friendship when I moved to Vancouver.
I treasured our friendship and felt that Joe was the big brother I never had.
We reminisced about life growing up in Hungary and helped each other remember songs and poems.
I am so grateful he was such an important part of my life and I miss him very much.
With lots of love and sincere best wishes to his family.
