As a brother-in-law, he exhibited fewer in-law traits and ceaselessly overflowed with brotherly affection.
James was always speaking his mind and under that grizzly bear exterior was a man with a huge heart!!! He was one of a kind and always would be there to help. He was a hard worker, a provider and loved his family! He was a very proud of his children and his grandchildren.
He will forever be in our hearts and our memories of family dinners, birthdays and holiday celebrations

We were so sorry to hear about the passing of James as we had lost touch with him so had no idea he had been ill. He was a good friend and fréquent visitor at our home in his younger years.
We have many fond memories and lots of laughs during those times and whenever we bumped into James in Whitby he always had a big smile and time for a chat.
He really was one of a kind and I know he will be sorely missed by friends and family. Sincerest sympathy. Fawcett family .
