I have so many fond memories of Cary keeping us entertained at the Down Omer. On a quiet weekend afternoon, we would ask him if he had his guitar and of course before the too long he would playing all of Neil Young's classics. I can remember telling him he was better at singing those songs than Neil himself!! Thanks for all of the happy memories!

Visiting Uncle Cary and Aunt Melissa's house was one of my favorite things to do with my siblings, Jolene and Nathan as kids growing up. We use to play in the basement with our cousins Dustin, Luke and Tyler. Uncle Cary would take us to the barn out back or the path which led to a small creek/swimming hole. Uncle Cary also found our first family pet, Daisy at just a couple days old inside that very barn we played in as kids. We treasured Daisy as much as we treasured having Uncle Cary as our Uncle. Losing her was tough but Losing Uncle Cary has been extremely rough on all of us. It still seems like yesterday, he would be playing on the guitar and surrounded by all his grandbabies, nephew's/nieces and loved ones. We will always treasure and hold you close in our hearts. Cary was a wonderful and kind man. We have known each other for a long time. He was a man of great talent, He worked with us for many years and was a wealth of knowledge. He will be missed tremendously by us at MPI Construct and Mark and all the team. sending our condolences to you all. We love you, Cary.

Carey was a great guy....I will always think of Carey whenever I hear any Neil Young song. Jamming and gigging with Carey and around the fire will resonate with Amanda and me for the rest of our lives. His gentle nature and great laugh made Carey one of a kind. Our thought are with his family and friends during this very difficult time.

Living in different areas of the country, we did not have the ability to spend time together as often as we would have liked. My littles only know Cary through our stories, pictures and sharing with cousin Isabella. But we all know his love of family and what a strong and passionate father and grandpa he has been. His love of music and sense of humour are my strongest memories, and I am glad to say that I think that he has led by example and passed that on.
