Dear Mauchan Family,
We are so incredibly sorry for your loss. We love Rick so much and hate that our time was cut short. There were many more laughs and good times to be had. Rick, we will always remember how loving, caring, and hilarious you were. Rick always had a knack of making people laugh even in not so appropriate times but that was just one of the amazing qualities of Rick Mauchan, he could cheer anyone up. We have had so many amazing times with you over the years and would give anything for even one more. Our life is better having known him and we will hold these memories close to our hearts forever. Rick has inspired us to laugh more, not take ourselves so seriously, and be unapologetically us.
Cheers Rick until we see you again
Love always
Malven & Victoria

Rick will have a lasting impact on us all. He has taught us so much about life - to have fun, be a good person and the importance of humour & laughter (Rick being the source of that). So many of my fondest childhood memories include the time spent with him and our second family, that being our neighbours. Thank you for everything Rick. May you Rest in Paradise.

Rick, Its hard to find the right words to say as we are truly saddened by the news of your passing. We will cherish all of our fun memories together from our many cottage nights, vacations, parties and much more. My fondest memory of you is your contagious laugh. You were a man full of jokes and could make anyone's day brighter just by your presence. Thank you for being a second dad to me after the passing of my own. You were someone we could always turn to for anything. Chris' fondest memory of you was when you took him on his first boat ride ever. After you learning he could not swim you put an inflatable life jacket on him and blew it up. This is going to be hard without you but we take comfort in knowing you are with your buddy and no longer in pain. Kristina, Amanda and Colleen our hearts are with you during this difficult time. We love you all xo

We are so deeply saddened to learn that our Kenedon neighbour Richard has passed away. He was a good neighbour and always came through if we needed assistance with our boat.
Our respective grandchildren always enjoyed a visit with Richard and Marley. We remember well the day he took Jackson and Cullen for spins on his Seadoo on Pigeon Lake, and Elena and Olivia trying their luck on his stand up paddle board. They were all thrilled to have those experiences. We will always appreciate his kindness.
Also our great times around the bonfire with Richard. Enjoying a brew and looking up at the stars.
Thank you Richard and may you finally breathe easy and RIP.
