Our Elaine is gone and so many loving memories come pouring in. As a Canadian, to be embraced so lovingly by such a beautiful person meant everything to me. For someone to have struggled so hard in her early life, to be taken care of so diligently by those she had made sacrifice for, tells you all you need to know about Elaine. Her love was boundless, her forgiveness total and her appreciation and zest for life and family without bounds. We loved her then and we love her still. Rest well, Elaine, we will speak your name often and try to laugh more than cry. Forever in our hearts and mind.

We took my mom and my father-in-law to Niagara falls for the weekend to the casino because that's something they love to do, in the morning we were going to breakfast she had us waiting for awhile because she had to make the bed before she left....or taking them to breakfast they would be calling at 6am telling me they are ready ,we would then spend the whole day together I would take her to have a pedicure and manicure then lunch and home after...these are some of the little things that meant alot to me, the fact that I could reminisce with a smile..

My father Frank D’Andrade had a nickname for my aunt that I carried on calling her when he passed. I would smother her with kiss all over her cheeks and she would call a nickname that she had for me and she would have the biggest smile when she called me it , and we both laughed. I alway love you and I miss you. Rest in peace and say hi to dad my brother Neil.
