Surrounded by loved ones, Jane Deremo Baron of Brooklin passed peacefully away at Lakeridge Oshawa.
Beloved Mom of Rob Baron of Brooklin, Melanie Baron of Oshawa and Sandra Gardiner of Whitby. Very proud Grandma of Rowan Gardiner, Cassandra Gardiner of Whitby and Ryan Baron of Oshawa.
Jane is survived by her sister Margaret (Norman) of Lindsay, brother John (Connie) of Oshawa and many nieces and nephews.
Jane was predeceased by husband Frederic Baron 1992, her sister Ellen Hodgson 2010 and her Grandson Christopher Stephenson 2022.
Retired from H&R Block, she will be missed by her co-workers and friends.
Jane and her family would sincerely like to thank all the staff on the Palliative ward, PSW's who attended her at home, Dr. Amanda Pawley, Port Perry Medical Associates and all the Doctors and Staff with the Maid Program for the Amazing Care and Support she received.
At Jane's request she ask that any donations be considered for a Living Tribute.org which plants trees in Ontario.
A celebration of life will be held at the Brooklin Legion, 56 Baldwin Street in Brooklin on Sunday, January 14th from 1 p.m. to 4p.m.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Destefano Funeral Homes 1289 Keith Ross Drive in Oshawa.
