Obituary of Maria "Margareta" Betlen

Now at peace… Surrounded by her family, Margareta passed away on September 28, 2014, at the age of 76. She was a loving mother to Emil, grandmother to Andrei and Gabriel and mother in law to Cerasela. Margareta will be dearly missed by her sisters: Susana, Lena and Tenzi. Friends and family members from both Canada and Romania will remember Margareta for her endless tolerance, subtle sense of humor and last but not least for her excellent cooking. She was able to quietly but deeply touch the lives of all of those who got to know her. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa(south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road)905-440-3595 on Wednesday, October 1st from 1-2pm, with the funeral service commencing at 2pm.
