Peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday February 10^th at Soldiers Memorial Hospital in Orillia in his 86^th year.   Beloved husband of Marija.   Loving father of Igor (Linda).  Cherished Stari-Ata of Courtney, Breanna, and Jonathan.   Cherished Uncle of Irena (Boris). Great Uncle of David, and Tia.  Mirko will be lovingly remembered by his extended family and friends in Canada and Slovenia.

Visitation will be held on Friday Feb 16^th from 2:00 pm -4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive in Oshawa.  Family led prayers will be held at 3:45pm and 7:45pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday Feb 17^th at 11:00 am at St John the Evangelist Parish in Whitby.  Memories and condolences may be left on this page as a comfort to the family.
