Dearest Hazel,
Sandy and I feel your loss so deeply, as will all who were touched by Brian. So many laughs and great times we have been privileged to share with you both.
Much could be said of his generosity of spirit, humanity and his willingness to provide help and advice. I would simply describe Brian as truly a 'Prince among men'.
The following lyrics from a favourite song, have been of comfort to me when coming to terms with bereavement. I hope they strike a chord with you too.

Dear Hazel,
Our deepest condolences. Brian was a one-of-a-kind person who always filled a room with his laughter and sharp wit. We remember how much he enjoyed engaging in lively discussions on almost any topic. We feel so fortunate to have experienced his company. Be it gourmet night on the Point, parties and dinners at your place, or frequent chance weekend encounter when he and Whisky would tour the neighbourhood in his truck, Brian always had a welcoming smile and a good word. We wish you strength and comfort as you move forward.

My sincerest condolences to the family. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
I was very saddened in hearing about Brian’s passing. Brian hired me at IBM’s procurement department and it was my first full time job. I have cherished those times and look back fondly under Brian’s mentorship and guidance.
I also had an opportunity to help Brian in his logistics business.

Dear Hazel
I want to express my deepest sympathy and
condolences to you and your extended family.
Brian was such an important part of my life during the 60 plus years we have been friends.
Brian lived life to the fullest and could always be counted on to be there in time of need, support, or advice.
Hazel, I will always remember yours and Brian's hospitality and laughs whenever I visited.

Hazle, Paula and I are heart broken as you know. Although we only knew Brian for the past 20 years, I counted him as one of my very best friends. He was one of the very few I could count on for anything. His friendship, compassion, and generosity will never be forgotten. If there is anything we can do ever, please do not hesitate. I will be there. Anything for my favorite redhead! I am so blessed to have known him. I am also glad I was able to share a cigar with him just 3 weeks ago. Love you Hazle. Brian had such a big personality and the heart to go with it.
I could ask him anything and he would always take the time to advise and explain things when I needed it.
He will be sorely missed!

Awww Dear Hazel,
Denise and l are heartbroken. Brian was such a lovely man and a dear friend to so many.
We can’t help thinking about his love for life, infectious laugh and how he was always so welcoming.
No one we know could take a joke or enjoy it as much as he did.

I don't need to tell you that you and Brian are extended family to us. Brian was also so generous and welcoming. We will cherish our time spent together. Now, Mom and Brian are dancing again and throwing a few Spiced Rum and Whiskey's down.
