Billy and his family were close family friends growing up in Westshore area of Pickering, Ontario. I will always remember him as a young red headed with a big smile and loved to chat. Everyone who came across Bill liked him and enjoyed his company. My last opportunity to chat with him was at Oshawa golf club. We chatted about golf duh, family and when were we going to get together again! Condolences to Bill’s family and friends at a loss of a great human. RIP Bill. Erickson Family❤️.

Bill was confident and kind. When it came to golf, he was selfless; he wanted your success to be greater than his own. It was this quality that many had the privilege to feel, from beginner students to friends and playing partners, even a PGA Tour player or two. It was this character that helped him walk fairways with the worlds best, paving the way for his son to do the same. We lost a good one, but he’s planted many seeds in this world; Bill is still not done leaving his mark.

Bill lit up the room when entering. He commanded the room. Always good for a laugh and able to laugh at himself. Bill ,Kerri and Marshall are good friends of Karolyn(our daughter) and Kevin and family. Met in high school.
We have had many special occasions together. Always with great joy.
A memory of Bill for me was when Kerri had a shower for Karolyn. We arrived at their house and Bill was lying on the floor. Puzzled me, but he said he was catching the sun to see if there was any dust on the floor and he wanted to sweep it up.
So many people have you all in their hearts. Gone too soon.

Our condolences to the Bath family. We met Bill (Billy) many years ago through friends, Craig & Tana. Bill & Craig would come out to play in tournaments when my husband needed to put in a foursome. A few girlfriends & I took lessons with him too. He was a great teacher. So kind & patient. Rest in peace Bill.

Bill Bath. What a great guy. A wonderful co-worker in the SuperCente days and golf buddy. Bill was one of the first to nickname me "Jack" (as in Jack Nicklaus).
He married his sweetheart Kerri and passed his golf knowledge to their son, Marshall.
"Still hittin' em down the middle, Marshall?"
Bill called his own shots but no one saw this one coming.
My sincere condolences,
Ian Young.

Heartfelt condolences to Bill's wife Karrie and son Marshall on the sudden and shocking news of Bill's passing. Bill was one of the guys who we looked forward to growing older with - be it on the golf course or at the hockey rink. A fine athlete and coach, fantastic golfer and great skater, Bill was also a humble man who always had a tip or word of encouragement at the ready, and loved conversation and debate in the locker room or at the lounge table where he was affectionately known as 'one-beer Billy'. His unmistakable voice and personality will be sorely missed.
Rest in peace, Billy!

Not many men and/or golf instructors would gladly take on 5 beginner children golfers and a little sister hanging around…Bill was certainly the exception!
Like many peoples’ sentiments in their messages…Bill was an exceptional man.
We had the privilege of knowing him as a witty, smiling, jovial golf yoda but later also as a fellow hockey parent and golf companion at Oshawa golf. Our Father/Son matches are some of our fondest golf memories, thankfully he let me have Marsh as a teammate to keep things close.
His encouragement of young people in their endeavours, be them athletic or otherwise was always paramount with Bill and more than admirable…he firmly believed that you give a young person every opportunity that you could to allow them to succeed.
Bill will be lovingly remembered by our entire family. Our hearts are broken for the immense loss experienced by Kerri and Marshall…much love ❤️

What started with Sunday morning hockey developed into a golf friendship. He asked me about my golf experiences and stated he was going to really start playing. I played with him that first time at Deer Creek and he shot 96. I shot 75. He said he would beat me by the next year. He did! Bill was an extremely dedicated man! Our golfing together took us to Las Vegas and Brazil while he was teaching the great game in Durham. God be with you!

Bill was one of the first few friends I made when I moved to Canada from England, we were 12! Back then we raced around the neighbourhood on our bikes and found joy and laughter in every moment.
Bill was always polite, considerate, genuine, thoughtful and had a smile that lit up his face and your heart and as we grew up together, none of that changed about him.
After high school, I would run into him when I lived in the East end and he always greeted me with a smile and a laugh, sharing how his life was evolving and the love he had for his family. On one of those visits I remember him telling me he was going to pursue his dream of golf and feeling truly inspired by his courage to make that change. As we all now know, that decision was his destiny, achieving so much but giving so much more.
I send out my heartfelt condolences to all Bill’s family and friends. He was truly an amazing man!
