Obituary of Indra Rattansingh
Indra Rattansingh, 64 passed away peacefully on July 10 in the presence of her loved ones. She was born on June 12, 1960 in Trinidad to Seemungal and Titarie Singh. Indra is survived by her husband Clive Rattansingh; her son Randy Rattansingh and his wife Erin Neath along with their two daughters Kamryn and Taylor Rattansingh; her daughter Rhonda Rattansingh, and her husband Adrian Chapman, and their daughter Olivia Chapman and finally her sister Dassie Singh Pragg, her brother Kawal Singh.
Indra was a joyful person, who brought a positive attitude and energy to any job or task she worked on. Indra had an entrepreneur mindset. She was a problem solver and a true goal setter. By determination, strength, and tremendous sacrifices, she achieved all that she wanted to accomplish in this world. To every home, the kitchen is the heart and soul, and this is where you would find Indra. Her passion was cooking. This talented chef put her heart and soul into every meal she prepared. She loved music and dancing. In fact, she always has a small radio playing, listening to music and dancing while she cooked.
Indra had an undeniable zest for life. Indra danced through life. Her rhythms were the connection between multiple generations and always enjoyed being among great company. Indra Rattansingh, was a wonderful sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, neighbour and most of all, a faithful friend. She loved with her entire heart and it was well known to everyone she has ever touched. She will be deeply missed by her friends, family, and all who were lucky enough to have known her.
