Dear Andre, Sarah and Stephan and Family, My deepest condolences. I will never forget Lynn and all of you from our days in the apt on Hanover. I am so sorry for Lynn and all of you. Lynn was the most wonderful person. I cherish the tea cup always from her trip to Nova Scotia over 26 years ago. Our children played together prior to moving away to Whitby and yet we always sent Christmas cards and I fondly remember her Parents and family. My prayers are with all of you. God bless you Lynn. Claude and I are heartbroken and know our words cannot take away your pain at this unimaginable difficult time.. Hold onto her infinite love, in your soul, let it comfort you through your sorrow. There is no one in this world like your mother. Lynn was an incredibly special person who brought joy and laughter into our lives.
She and I had spent a day at Parkwood, admiring the gardens, then searching for those " little bunny " flowers she loved. Her genuine excitement when she found them & demonstrated how she'd squeeze them as a child, is unforgettable!
The best memory I have of Lynn was at the Bridal salon. We were awestruck with every gown Sarah tried. Undoubtedly, we were all excited, and emotional, yet Lynn beamed with pride of her amazing daughter! We cried happy tears, and giggled together as we drank "champagne", & Lynn stuffed her purse with extra little chocolates !!!

Lynn's passing brought back a flood of wonderful happy memories for me. As part of the Bell Girls we went out karaoke singing and a few bevies at the Gladstone Hotel. My gosh we had fun. We met via Bell and together went through our ups and downs. The happiest event in Lynn's life was meeting and marrying Andre. My how she loved you. You both deserved to be so happy and in love. When the children came she was so excited and thrilled at her beautiful babies. So many wonderful memories here to list them all. Lynn and I met through our children, Jamie and Steph. Steph came to our home one evening to skate in the backyard. At the end of the evening Lynn came to get Steph. I don’t remember where this picture was but Lynn looked at it and pointed to my mom and said the name “Joan.” I replied yes that’s my mom, Well, Lynn had worked with My mom for several years at Bell Canada they would have lunch together and enjoyed outings. We both shared some tears as my mom had passed a few years prior to that day. Lynn was a kind gentle soul. I will celebrate her life and keep her in my heart. God Bless You Lynn

The most beautiful human being, inside and out. The most amazing friend my mother has had. I have so many memories growing up with my brother, Stephan and Sarah and I always loved going over with my mum to see Lynn. Just the greatest humour, the kindest smile, the biggest hugs and sweetest kisses were always given. There truly is no one on this planet like Lynn.

Lynn was like a second mom to me. I spent countless hours at the DeCoene residence growing up and she was always there to greet you with a warm hug and smile. She was full of laughs and jokes and she happily supported all of our late night shenanigans. She will be truly missed.

Andre - no words can express how sorry I am for you and your family. The loss of Lynn came way to early in her life. I remember the fun we had at my Hawaiian parties in the summer and how much Lynn enjoyed them and her warm beer.

What can I say about Lynn? She was my lovely, bubbly Cousin and when we were kids whilst she was in England still, we were always laughing. After she emigrated to Canada and we met up, we laughed. When we spoke on the telephone, she laughed. But that was Lynn, always happy and laughing who lit up the room when she entered. She always worked hard for her family and put others before herself.

Q: What will you never forget about Lynn?
A: I am writing this on behalf of the group of friends will say "The Gang" which included myself, Catherine, Pam, Amandio, Pat, Sandra, Jill, Dave, Mary and Lynn . We would get together for all sorts of functions like Birthdays, St. Paddy's Day, Barbeques, Girls Christmas Get-Togethers, Girls Weekend Away, Halloween or any excuse to connect and go out dancing.
We will never forget her smile, dancing and the fun she liked to have.

Q: What 3 words best describe Lynn and why?
A: Lynn was Fun and loved to have fun. She was caring and gave the best hugs.
Back in April of 2011 when Prince William and Kate Middleton were getting married Lynn came for a sleepover. We were getting up at 4 am to watch the Royal Wedding. This was one of the best days ever. Of course I had fancy hats to wear with our pajamas. We drank tea, ate muffins and fruit. The fun part was taking pictures of Lynn in front of the TV like she was actually at the wedding. I do miss all the fun times I had with her but at least I have the memories and pictures to look back on. ❤️

I’m so sorry to hear of Lynn’s passing. My condolences to Andre, their family and many friends. Lynn used to join us for years at out favourite Friday night hangout, The Gladstone Hotel. We had such fun and we have so many great memories. We always called ahead to have Lynn’s beer removed from the cooler. She loved her beer warm, typical English way of drinking it. She will be missed. She’s at peace now and safely in God’s hands.
