Anna was a bright light on Patterson Cres. from the day I moved in 26 years ago. I first met her when she was doing her rounds selling daffodils for Cancer and later we had many garage sales together. She always seemed happy, even when going through her cancer treatments. Because of the brave face she put on, I never realized how bad her cancer really was. She knew everyone, not only on the street but in the area! If you wanted to know something, I always joked "go to Anna, she knows everything". She was so creative. I've seen her paintings and they are beautiful. She made a simple piece of paper into a beautiful Christmas card with a few strokes of her brush. I was so impressed that I took a picture of it and hoped that I might be able to duplicate it. She was also a fantastic cook. She posted pictures of her dinners regularly and I remember donating my pumpkins to her after Halloween so she could make pies, bread and everything else pumpkin! I know she loved her family very much and was so proud that Lucas had become an accountant. She'll be greatly missed by all. I know the street won't be the same without her. May she rest in peace.

Dziś żegnamy naszą ukochaną Anie, która przegrała swoją walkę z rakiem. Była niezwykłą osobą o wyjątkowej osobowości – zawsze radosna, uśmiechnięta i pełna życia. Ania była urodzoną optymistką, która potrafiła wnieść światło do każdego miejsca, w którym się pojawiła. Jej pozytywna energia i ciepło przyciągały ludzi, a ona sama z łatwością nawiązywała przyjaźnie, sprawiając, że każdy czuł się mile widziany.
Jej śmiech był zaraźliwy, niosący radość i ukojenie. Ale Ania nie była tylko osobą radosną – była także niezwykle silna i inteligentna. Nie pozwalała, by ktokolwiek nią pomiatał, i zawsze broniła tego, w co wierzyła.
Miała wiele talentów – swoja praca zachwycala wielu . Ale jej największym darem było to, jak wpływała na życie innych – jako przyjaciółka, towarzyszka i wsparcie.
Ania uczyła dzieci polskiego dbając o propagowanie języka polskiego wśród Polonii.
Bardzo uzdolniona artystycznie, malowała, szyła, czerpała radość z kreowania potraw i wypieków i dzielenia się swoimi dziełami.
Będzie nam jej ogromnie brakowało. Ania pozostawiła w naszych sercach pustkę, której nikt nie zapełni, ale także niezliczone piękne wspomnienia, które będziemy pielęgnować na zawsze.
Droga Aniu, dziękujemy za wszystko, co wniosłaś do naszego życia. Będziesz zawsze z nami – w naszych myślach, sercach i modlitwach.
Spoczywaj w pokoju.

My deepest condolences to her family and friends. I am heartbroken to lose my dear and special friend.
She lit up a room with her smilies and bubbly enthusiasm sharing her various art forms of painting, drawing, cooking and sewing her fashion designs.
We originally met at the Ontario Arts Council Art education program through the DDSB, where we both taught art programs.
I am the one hugging her in this photo, when she came to support me at one of my art shows. I will miss you Anna.

I met Anna a year ago. She was going to sew me a lovely dress. She was very creative and had a warm heart and was kind. She showed me her lovely garden and enjoyed her vegetables. I will miss her for her compassion and kindness to others. Rest in Peace Anna. My deepest condolences to her family during this difficult time.

A vibrant passionate woman who lived/loved life. Her family was her pride and joy. Her undying love and passion for cooking, gardening and painting kept her spirit alive. Q: How did you meet Anna?
A: I have known Anna for over 25 years. We first met at a Polish language school where she taught my children. Our friendship blossomed shortly thereafter, and over the years, our bond has grown even closer. We have stayed in touch almost every week for the past 25 years.
Anna loved her family deeply and was very proud of Lukasz, Eveline, and Henry. She enjoyed cooking for them, discovering new recipes, sharing pictures, recounting her life stories and exploring new places.
Anna’s passing is a great loss for all of us who knew her. There are no words that can take away your pain but know that your Mom will always be with you. Just close your eyes, listen to your heart, and she will be there.
May happy memories one day replace the sadness in your heart. My condolences.
My dear friend, I will miss you dearly. Rest in peace. Forever loved and never forgotten.
Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure

jest nam bardzo przykro z powodu odejścia Waszej Mamy i Żony.

On New Year's Eve, almost exactly 41 years ago, I had the happy privilege of welcoming Anna to our family. My brother Henry began his life journey with his bride, and my wife and I were blessed with a sister-in-law. Anna was a charming, joyous presence in our lives, a sustaining life partner for Henry and a wonderful mother to Evelynne and Lucas. Her effervescence, humour and positive outlook enriched us.
Anna was an accomplished artist producing many striking works that demonstrated her broad range of talent. She was also an excellent cook, often making use of homegrown vegetables from her beloved gardens or wild mushrooms gathered on frequent drives in the countryside. Anna was unafraid to explore the culinary world, testing many unusual inventive recipes on us. The annual Christmas Eve family dinner, featuring traditional Polish dishes, was truly a feast that we all looked toward to. This year we will not have that dinner. The bright star on our Christmas tree has dimmed. We will miss you Anna. We love you. Rest in peace.
