Obituary of Lynne Lorraine Nelson

It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Lynne Lorraine Nelson, on Tuesday, February 17, 2015. She leaves behind her beloved parents Mildred and Earle Nelson, her dear sisters, Joanne (Ralph) and Jennifer, her loving nephews Jason (Sarah) Jeremey and her great niece Hailey and great nephew Jackson. Also left behind are her four cats Opie, Jasper, Louie and Stephanie. Lynne’s career spanned thirty years where she worked as a consultant with various companies in both Canada and the United States. She loved to travel and enjoyed vacationing in Canada, United States, and Caribbean as well as abroad. Her interests included scuba diving, flying airplanes, golfing, camping, playing dominos and X-box with family. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road)905-440-3595, on Saturday, February 21st from 10 – 11 am. A service to celebrate Lynne's life will be held in the DeStefano Chapel at 11 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Durham Humane Society, Oshawa.
