My condolences to the family of Paul.
Paul and I went to school together and we went to join the military in late 1969/70. Paul required his parents permission, because he was not 18. After a short while I was living in Alberta. Up drove Paul in his Mustang Fastback. He lived with me until he found his own home. It has been along time, he was and still is my friend.
I have nothing but good memories of Paul. He will be missed.

To Paul's children:
Please know that he loved each one of you fiercely and he was so proud of all of his grandchildren.
To Paul's siblings:
His bond with all of you was obvious and undeniable. His brothers and sisters and the wonderful memories you all share of your dear Mother were always close to his heart. Your families were a source of enjoyment and pride for him.
To the "Out-Laws": Paul accepted and loved all of us. We knew we were always welcome in his home and his life.
To Paul's friends: Paul had a large circle of friends that were important to him. There are probably very few, if any, that he didnt help at some point. He was a caring man who would lend a hand at any time.
To Paul:Your gentle generous spirit is your legacy. The man we all knew and loved for many years will be with us always. You left us too soon and our hearts are broken. But we think of you with Mum and Joyce now and trust you will finally rest easy there. We will miss you - till we see you again.....

Goodbye Paul. From the days we were just kids, you have always chosen your own pathway. Fortunately for us, that path included always being there for your family and friends. When Dee and I needed help and support, you were there. When our van broke down on the way to the airport, when we needed help moving, when our electrical panel needed changing, you were there. When we could drop in unannounced for a barbecue and a swim, you welcomed us.
Your life wasn't easy lately but that doesnt change our memories of the wonderful times our family spent with you and Denise and the kids.
We will always love and miss you.
David

Our sincere condolences go to my cousins for the lose of their father & grandfather. It is never easy to lose a parent but remember they are never gone from our hearts or memories. He always had a smile for you and that I will remember most.
He will be sadly missed but I know he is not alone. Our loved ones that have gone before him were there waiting for him with open arms when he arrived.
You will never be forgotten Uncle Paul
Love your niece, Monica & Des

Pauline, Stephanie, Robert, Brian and your families,
I will always remember my brother as the kind-hearted person he was. He was a bit of a free spirit at times. I remember one of my birthdays when I was about 10 years old -- Paul had been in Calgary and happened to come home at that time. I don't know if I was more excited that he showed up or that he was doing doughnuts in the snowy driveway. I was so happy to see him.
I am sorry my family and I will not be attending Paul's service, it was a very difficult decision for me. We are on our way to PEI to a attend a wedding for Steve's nephew on Saturday. I knew Paul will understand. He was a great dancer, I will be dancing with him at the wedding. He will always be in my heart and in my thoughts. I send you all many hugs & kisses.
Love always,
Your little sister Carolyn, Steve, Shawn, Samantha & Eddie

Paul was one of those gentle souls that would give you a big hug and you always knew he meant it. Never failed to say, "Love you sis". He will be greatly missed. Until we meet again, keep dancing bro, and then we will dance together...xoxo. Love you back!
Sending love and hugs to all the kids and grand kids. Take it one day at a time.
