Obituary of Leticia Espiritu Maregmen

MAREGMEN, Leticia Espiritu Passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 7, 2015 at the age of 65 years. Beloved daughter of the late Leonarda and Pablo Maregmen. Loving sister of Marita (Napoleon) Nankil, Pablo Maregmen, Eva ( Augusto) Alfonso and Renato (Jocelyn) Maregmen. Cherished aunt of Christopher, Vanessa, Kristine, Natalie, Christian, Janelle Melanie, Krystiane and Helen Mae. Leticia immigrated to Canada in 1973 from the Philippines. She was actively involved with Alcalanians of North America and a member of PANA and Durham Filipino Canadian Society. She retired from the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario after 30+ years, and in her retirement she has enjoyed shopping, travelling, caring for her great nieces and nephews, testing her luck at the casino and enjoying all that life has to offer with family and friends. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595 on Tuesday, August 11th from 7-9pm and on Wednesday, August 12th from 2-4 & 7-9pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Gertrude’s Catholic Church on Thursday, August 13th at 10:00am. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
