Brown, Brenda “Gail” (Retired General Motors Employee)
Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, after a lengthy and courageous battle, on Sunday January 10, 2016. Gail, at the age of 69.
Beloved Mother of Tracey Burton, Darren Brown, and Cynthia Spicer. Loving Nannie of Noah, Nicholas, and Elissa. Daughter of Ernest Woods and the late Stella Grant. Dear Sister of Terry Woods (Vianne) and the late Brenda Woods. Gail will be greatly missed, by her nieces and nephews, cousins, her faithful companion Patches, and all that knew her. A Special thank you to the Staff and Doctors at the Palliative Care Unit Lakeridge Health, for their care and compassion.
Visitation will be held at DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Dr., Oshawa, ON(south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595, on Friday January 15th at 2pm – 4pm. A service to celebrate Gail’s life will be in the Chapel on Friday January 15th at 4:00pm. If desired, donations to the Hospital for Sick Children or Lakeridge Health Cancer Center would be appreciated.
