This picture is Coach Don and my daughter Christina. Coach Don was proudly giving the girls their Gold Medals. Coach Don was Christina's first ever hockey coach at the young age of five when she first started playing hockey and Coach Don was her last coach when Christina completed her final Midget hockey year in April 2015 at the age of 18. Coach Don has coached Christina throughout all her years of hockey. He was a total inspiration to her and our family.

Our dearest friend so many great camping trips together summer 2015 was such a great trip Cape Cod, New Brunswick, PEI , Nova Scotia and Quebec City, when the girls were young we use to leave the day after school finished and off we would go to Myrtle Beach, great times in the ocean, and Don he loved the charcoal barbecue and our many shopping trips to the outlet malls in Myrtle I think Don bought more than us girls did.
You were an amazing husband, father and friend and you will be missed dearly

Some of us knew Don quite close for many years as our daughters played in the same age group while Don was on the DW bench. Where to begin when a life is taken far too soon............
When I think of Don, I have the exact image of the picture you've posted - a big smile on his face, a zest for life, and a 'can-do' attitude through whatever life threw your way.
He was a devoted friend - someone who would give you the shirt off his back or be available to help with whatever it was that was needed.
He was there for me without hesitation or questions many times & I value his friendship & love. He enriched my life like he did so many others.
He may be gone from 'this place', 'this time', but he will never be forgotten - he imprinted too many wonderful, valuable memories on my heart to ever fade away.
I was Blessed to have had him in my life.
Love to his amazing wife & my best friend Jennifer, his incredible daughters {his proudest, most wonderful achievement}, and family..........may peace find it's way to your hearts.
