While I have not seen Opie for years, I am deeply saddened by the passing of a fine man. I got to know Opie during the annual puff n putt golf tournament. Opie was such a gentleman, always the voice of reason and truly well respected by everyone in the group. Always a smile on his face and full of optimism, a treat to be around. I am relieved to hear Opie's suffering is over and his family can send him off straight to heaven, that's where people like Opie go, no questions asked.

Lori and Carly, I am so sorry for your loss. The road you both have travelled with Steven over the last while has had many twist and turns. It has not been an easy one to travel, but know the two of you have come to a fork In the road where Steven has been summoned to heaven and you and Carly have another road to travel together. The road will have many hills and valleys to travel through but there will come a time when the road will become flat and you both will find the inner strenghth to walk alone with Steven in your hearts and the memories will make you both stronger as each day passes.

Dear Lori, Carly, Sandy and Audrey.
I've known Steven for many many years, I'm sure we were both in diapers, he was Sandy's older brother that bugged us all the time, he sure could hit the baseball when we used to play 500 on the street (before the street lights came on as that was when we all had to go in for the night). Many memories of the Decimal Place gang, may he be at peace now and pain free. Keep your happy memories close to your heart. RIP Steven. Always Patsy (and Bob Taylor) and the Doherty Family.
