Obituary of Maureen Anne Lorimer

LORIMER, Maureen Anne (Kernaghan) Passed away peacefully on August 26th at the age of 82. Maureen was admitted for one month at Lakeridge Health in Oshawa where she succumbed to a ischemic stroke. Daughter of James and Margaret Kernaghan and sister of James, Margaret, Patricia, John and Linda. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years Edward D. Lorimer and is the adored Mother of David Edward, Suzanne Ruth, Timothy James and wife Sheila Cabahug Lorimer. A proud and loving Grandmother to Hillary, Matthew, Cathy and Charleen. Maureen was such a lovely, gentle, beautiful and kind person who will be fondly remember by all those whose lives she touched. We're so sorry to have lost her, but lucky to have had her in our lives. There will be no funeral service, but plans will be made for a memorial celebration of life at the end of September or early October.
