To Margaret, John, Shane
Please accept our sincere condolences at this sad time. We have delightful memories of Peter. During our years in Pickering, Peter was a wonderful and generous host on the many occasions that we visited his home. He blended his Greek heritage well with his adopted Toronto culture, and the end result was something in between – possibly a Newfie. In that vein he attended our many music sessions where he was definitely the greatest exponent of the Ugly Stick that we ever had. I am sure he has already charmed the angels into replacing the harp with the Ugly Stick.

We have shared many laughs and good memories over the years. I'm still working for Fairwiew Glass and Peter will be missed by us all. Dear Margaret, John and Shane:
I am heartbroken at the loss of this wonderful man whom I have been privileged to call my friend for over 40 years. We were both young men starting on our respective business paths when Peter came to meet me and hired me as his lawyer. I incorporated Fairview Glass & Mirror and have been his legal advisor ever since. I have witnessed Peter's hard work over these past many years, the close bond he had with Margaret, the passion with which he adored his two sons, their marriages, and the growth of his family to include his adoring grandchildren. I spoke to him often and witnessed his mentoring of John within the business. Peter was fiercely proud of both John and Shane and valued his family more than anything else in life. He lived life large, enjoying skiing, the cottage and just being with his wife, children and grandchildren anywhere in the world that travels took them. The world has lost one of its finest men. But you have lost your pillar of strength. I know Peter will live on in all of you both in your hearts and in your heads and that he will be looking down from above and continue to keep all of you safe and strong. May he rest in peace.

I don't think a day went by in the two years I had the privilege of spending my days with Peter that he did not talk so proudly of his family. He felt so truly blessed to have his family so close to him. He took great pleasure in telling stories of his grandchildren and of his two boy's and of course, his Bride Margaret.
