Obituary of Shirley Snelgrove

Snelgrove: Shirley Shirley passed away peacefully on Sunday February 12, 2017 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 69 in the loving presence of her children and immediate family. Daughter of the late Dulcie Belle (née Green) and Nelson Cecil Snelgrove, beloved mother of Rob (Diane), Carrie (Mark), and Dawn (Brian). Beloved nanny to Amber, Mitchell, Casey, Mackenzie, Kathleen, Avery, Julia, Laura, and Nicholas. Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her siblings Gwen, Bram, Jack, Barb, Donna, Jim, and Ross, and her many nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family. Joyfully reunited in heaven with her parents, siblings Ruby, Lee, Pearl, and Rick, and the love of her life Henry (“Chuck”), Shirley will be missed more than words can say, but she lives on in our hearts, and we know she is looking down on us until we meet again. A celebration of Shirley’s life will be held on Saturday April 22, 2017 at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa.(905)440 -3595.
