Dear Andrew, Terry, Anneliese, Sarah and Jack,
What a wonderful mother and grand-mother you had to enjoy spending time with. She was always friendly, welcoming and interested in the people she was talking and visiting with.
She loved to chat over a cup of tea and would offer to make one when you came to visit. I loved to hear about her life spent in downtown Toronto, riding the transit system, visiting the ROM,(one of my favourite places too) and taking the girls shopping on Queen Street. She had lovely stories to share about her life there and in the remote places she lived when you were all younger. She was so adventurous and made the best of each situation and environment she found herself in. She would also share some of her teaching stories with me, which I enjoyed.
All of you must have happy memories of her living with you here in Milton. She enjoyed her time here with people coming and going to your home, enriching us with her stories and trying to help out where she could. You were all such good company for each other, including the dog, who became her special friend when everyone else was out.
You are a lovely family, who love each other, care about the people around you, reach out to us when we need you and share the special times in your lives with us.
