Of my 10 "first" and only surviving cousins, Charlie was my favourite. Not only because he saved my life from drowning in the Humber River when I was 13, but, because he was such an interesting man. So diverse and talented, a great diver, swimmer and athlete, you name it. He will be missed by Annice and I, but certainly not forgotten.
First Cousin, Bob Bale

Peter and I are thinking of you all at this sad time. Our time spent with Charlie these past few months were joyful. He was an interesting, talented character, with a quick wit and sharp sense of humour. We can only imagine how much you will miss him. Godspeed Charlie:)

Saddened to hear of the passing of such a fine man and artist. Cherish the days talking about illustration in "the day" and listening to his stories about each hand drawn scrimshaw piece or portrait. Deepest Condolences! Laurie

Dear Tia, Warren and Steve:
So sorry to hear your Dad has passed. I'm sure Barb was waiting for him and welcomed him to a much better life in Heaven.
I remember many visits up at Paudash Lake with your Mom and Dad when I was up to my Sister's place (Lorraine Kemp). Your Dad had a wonderful sense of humour and I will remember him always.
Remembering the good times will see you through these tough times.
Love to you and your families.

My condolences to all the family of Mr. Hargraves. Though we only met a few times when Tia would have us over to their home Mr. Hargraves welcomed us all into the home and a few times even had a conversation with us. May Mr. Hargraves rest peacefully and I know he is happy to be reunited with friends and family that have gone on before him. He will always be with you, and remember he is always just a thought away.
Best Regards Shane LeMesurier
