Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on March 31st 2017, at the age of 74. Beloved husband for Preciosa. Loving father of Mark Hincks, and Karin Beaconfield. Dear Brother of the late Eric Hincks, Betty Batez, Shirley Meads, Ken Hincks, and Glen Hincks. Elvin will be lovingly remembered by his large extended family, and circle of friends. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa(south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595 on Tuesday April 4th from 2:00pm -4:00pm and 7:00pm – 9:00pm. A funeral service to celebrate Elvin’s life will be held in the DeStefano Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday April 5th at 11:00am. Interment will take place at McNeil Cemetery in Priceville at a later date.
