Nonno, I'm trying my hardest to put my thoughts on paper, but every time i think i can get something out it stops. It breaks my heart that i wont be able to call you anymore, to just see how you are doing, to just hear that corky laugh of yours. everyday we spent together i never took for granted, i wanted to enjoy every moment, every walk around the block every trip to the store. Your smile was something that could light up a whole room, could make people smile with even a frown. don't ever think for a second ill forget about you or any of the amazing times we had because i wont, i will cherish those memories for years and years to come, & i cant wait till the day where i can tell my children how amazing of a person there great grandfather was. until we meet again nonno, i love you <3

Compare Sparacino, the childhood memories always remind me of your jolly and loving personality. Every Christmas we looked forward to Compare and Comare Sparacino's visit as you made our Christmas extra special, in fact any visit from the Sparacino's was a pleasure. I knew Giovanni only briefly, but welcomed his conversation and warmth as I was introduced into the family. I can say what I saw in him, I see always in his son, David, a warm and compassionate man with strong convictions and sense of family. My heart is so empty right now Nono , how do I ever grasp the fact that you were in my life for so long, that we shared so many memories and now you're gone. I can't grasp the fact that you will never see me walk down the aisle with the infectious smile I loved so much, or meet my children who I know would have loved you as much as I do. I'm so broken and the house feels so empty without you. Nona sits at the head of the table now and all I keep seeing is you sitting there with your hands full of food to feed roxy and koko underneath the table. I would do anything to have one more day with you, but I know how selfish that is of me. I keep praying you're at peace and doing all the things in heaven that you weren't able to do anymore here on earth. I will miss our conversations and the ability you had to make me laugh so hard.
