Janet and I send our heartfelt condolences to Ann and family (Jeffrey, Steven and Ellie) on Stu's passing. I recall Stu from our shared time at Queen's while studying engineering, as well as the period we lived in Whitby while he was with OPG/Ontario Hydro. Stu and Ann were constant companions and we always marvelled at how close they were as a couple, and their deep involvement within the community through the children. Stu was a highly respected engineering and management professional in the working world, who reached the pinnacle of his area of expertise. He also was a well known classmate to many at Queen's. He will be deeply missed.

Some people come into our lives and leave everlasting memories of love, laughter, and friendship. Stu was just that kind of person. We loved getting together, whether it was for baseball, golf, or just enjoying a day on the lake. He was mischievous and funny. We are saddened by the loss of our good friend Stu. We met in Deep River in 1981 just after my arrival in Canada - I (Ron) have such fond memories of the times we worked together at OPG. We had so many good laughs when we really should have been doing something a lot more serious.
Our deepest condolences go out to Ann, Jeff, Steven & Ellie - you are all in our thoughts.

Ann and Family,
My sincere condolences to you Stu's best Friend, and to the children and Grandchildren in the passing over of your loved one.
Stu seemed like such a jovial, kind and gentle person when I would see the both of you at the club!
May the God of your understanding give you the strength to cope with your loss and in time see that there is now a different life for you and through the love of your Family will make it through. Stu will be missed by many at different times and in different ways. However, only you will feel like half of you is gone. Ann you are a lovely person and well liked. I met Stu and Ann many years ago. Stu was always so friendly and personable. His dedication to his family was inevitable. His love for all of you ran deep. He was an extremely proud husband, father and grandfather. I always admired Stu, not just for his accomplishments in life, but how he handled life with his kindness and being such a genuine person. What a wonderful person. My heart is very sad, so I can only imagine how you feel. My love to Ann, Jeff, Steve and Elly.
