Obituary of Angelo Sacco

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Angelo Sacco on October 3, 2017 surrounded by the love of his family at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 78.

He will be sadly missed by his devoted wife, Mary (nee D'Addetta) and his cherished children and grandchildren. Maria (Jeff  Bradley), Antonella (Dennis Diachenko), and grandchildren Nicholas (Nicole) and Stefan (Lindsay). Dear brother to Maria (Vincenzo DeLeo), Rosa (Orazio Di Gregorio), Matteo, and his predeceased younger brother, Carlo and parents Teresa and Orazio. Loving uncle, cousin, brother in law and godfather to many.

Born July 15, 1939 in Carpino, Foggia. He will be fondly remembered by his extended family, countless students, customers, employees, colleagues and  friends.  A dedicated family man, respected  businessman, and mentor to so many. He accomplished much and his journey was fulfilled. Cancer took his life but his legacy will live on.

The  family wishes to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff of Lakeridge Health Oshawa, Durham Regional Cancer Centre, and especially the staff of the Supportive Care Unit for their kind, compassion in his final days.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph the Worker, 1100 Mary Street North, Oshawa on Tuesday, October 10th at 10:00 am. Entombment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
