Passed away surrounded by family on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at 8:02PM at Lakeridge Health Oshawa. Cherished mother of Steven (Jamie), Megan (Cody) and Joseph. Loving daughter of Elizabeth (Mike) and the late Howard Hancock. Devoted sister of Sheila (Glenn) Stephen. Shirley will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (Taunton Rd. east of Thornton Rd., 905-440-3595) on Tuesday, August 20th from 11:00AM-1:00PM. A Service to Celebrate Shirley's life will be held in the Chapel at 1:00PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada. Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca
