Obituary of Evelyne Foerster

Born January 16, 1940, Evelyne passed away unexpectedly at home on November 16, 2017.  Beloved wife of the late Klaus. Loving mother of Anne (Mike), Karen (Patrick), Mark (Dana) and Robert (Ian).  Cherished Oma to Melissa, Matthew, Jessica, Sarah, Ben, Zoe and Charlie.  Dear great grandmother to Christina.  Eva was born in Berlin and she moved to Canada in 1959 to start a new life and family. She was a master gardener, a friend to all animals and a wonderful cook. Her friends and family will miss her strong, vivacious character. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road, by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595 on Sunday, November 26th from 1:00-4:00pm, tributes will be shared at 2:00pm.  In memory of Evelyne, donations may be made to the Durham Humane Society.  Memories may be shared at www.destefanofuneralhomes.ca
