Obituary of John Lloyd

Peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the age 85.  Loving son of the late Mable (nee Belch) and Bill.  Beloved husband of Sherron. Loving father of Isia (Calvin), Iva (Hector), Ivan (Eve), Liana (Thor), Noreen (Roger), Myrna (Kaz), Jason (Sarah), and the late Melody and Connie.  Predeceased by Lorraine (Phillips) Lloyd.  Loving grandpa of 24 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren.  John was one of eleven children and is survived by his sister Ruth (Mert), and brothers Richard (Evelyn) and Doug (Linda); predeceased by a set of twins, Ted, Dorothy, Bob, George, and Joe.  He will be lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, family, friends, and those that had the pleasure of knowing him.  

Memorial visitation will be held at the De Stefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595 on Wednesday, January 10^th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. A Funeral Service to celebrate John’s life will be held in the De Stefano Chapel at 3:00pm.  If desired, donations may be made to the 151 Chadburn Squadron or Canadian Naturopathic Foundation.
