Obituary of Nancy Lorraine Garland

NANCY LORRAINE GARLAND

Passed away peacefully in her 67th year on Saturday, June 9, 2018 surrounded by the love of her family.

Nancy, beloved wife and soul mate of Ron Wharam. Loving mother of Ryanne and Conor Flattery, and in England, John (Lindsay) Wharam and Alison (Tim) Nicholson. Much loved grandma of Talia, George, Luke and Toby. Dearly loved sister of Allan (Rachael Cherian), Doug (Lorraine) and JoAnne (Brian) Haynes. Cherished aunt to her many nieces and nephews.

Thank you to Dr. Yishai Wise, Dr. Leena Hajra, and Dr. Mark Essak for their exceptional care and support over the past six years. 

In lieu of flowers, donations in Nancy’s memory can be made to Lung Cancer Canada or Nature Conservancy of Canada. 

In accordance with Nancy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Nancy’s life will be held on Saturday, June 23rd at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa(south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport). Visitation will begin at 1:00pm followed by a ceremony at 2:00pm.
