Obituary of Richard Young

Young: Richard Albert (Retired Broker/Owner of Century 21 Unique Realty)

Peacefully at Extendicare Oshawa on Sunday November 18^th, 2018 at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Shirley (68 Years).  Loving Father of Stephen (Maurine), Jeff, and Tim.  Cherished Grandpa of Sara (Glen), Ashley, Wallace, and Morgan.  Great Grandpa of Sadie.   Predeceased by his parents Wallace and Lyda, brothers Wilson, and Russell, and sister’s Leola and Betty. Richard will be lovingly remembered by all that had the pleasure of knowing him.   A Special thank you to the staff of Extendicare Oshawa, Lakeridge Health Whitby, and for their exceptional care of Richard, as well as the many PSW’s who assisted him at home.

Visitation will be at DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595 on Saturday December 1^st 2018, from 12:00pm until 2:00pm. A Service to Celebrate Richard’s Life will be held in the Chapel at 2:00 pm. If desired, memorial donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
