Obituary of Aldore Niles

NILES, Aldore Ida May (nee Trottier)

Passed away peacefully, after a two year battle with cancer on December 6, 2018 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, comforted by the love of her family. Beloved wife of Norman for 66 years. Loving mother to Annette (Robert) Gordon, Giselle Niles, Marcel (Sylvie) Niles, Marlene Bond and predeceased by her son Alan Niles (1989).  Cherished gramma to Jennifer (Bill), Robert Allan, Tamara, Kevin (Laura), Kristen, Kyla (Jason), Mitchell, Christopher, Rachel, Shannon, Kyle and Joey. Cherished great gramma to Olivia, Abiageal, Violet, Bentley and Dekyn. Aldore will be lovingly remembered by her sisters and brothers, Rose, Delores (predeceased) Emile (predeceased), Aime (Barb), Delima, Gabe (predeceased), Noel (predeceased), Florence, Fernande and Ludger (Wendy). She will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport) 905-440-3595 on Wednesday, December 12^th from 2:00-4:00pm and from 7:00-9:00pm and Thursday, December 13^th from10:00-11:00am, with a Funeral Mass to follow at 12:00pm at Parroisse Assomption de Notre Dame, 384 Hillside Avenue, Oshawa.  In memory of Aldore, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Hearth Place Cancer Support Centre Oshawa, or a charity of your choice.
