I wish I had better photos of Bill from our snorkeling trips through the years, but he was usually fastest off to check out a big fish or zipping around keeping tabs on everyone as we floated along a variety of reefs in Roatan and Bonaire. I will miss his enthusiasm, energy and humour both abroad or relaxing in their Oshawa backyard. Bill, it isn't the same without you, and I'll now always pack an extra camera.

I am not a traveller. Therefore my worldly life experiences have been limited.
Robin and Bill joined me and about 30 other people to witness and celebrate my son and daughter-in-law's wedding in Jamaica.
That's where Bill introduced me to a world and adventure I will treasure always.
I am also not much of a swimmer. Then Bill introduced me to the world beneath the water. The beauty and the Life I had no idea existed until he patiently taught me how to snorkel. It was Transformational and Awe inspiring for me. The beauty of the fish, the foliage and rocks was phenomenal. The sound beneath the water was hypnotic and very much meditative.
Now, when I want to go to a special place while meditating, I draw on my experiences of snorkelling with my patient and good friend Bill, and my best friend Robin.
I love you Bill, I will forever keep you in my Heart.

Mike Pugh posted a condolence

I’m deeply saddened by the passing of Bill, and send my condolences to his friends and family
I worked with and for Bill at different times for 14 years, he was both dedicated and loyal . He was an out and out character of a man , a one off , well respected by all .I am honoured to have worked with him, he always called me mike Prue , I never really corrected him , so far as I was concerned he could call me anything he wanted , he had more knowledge in his little finger than I could ever accumulate in my life time .
Regards Mike Pugh (from Wales)
