Passed on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 surrounded by family and loved ones. He was a beloved son, brother, grandson, godfather, nephew & friend to all. A proud soldier and athlete who had a zest for life. Nathanial, also known as Sano in his younger years, and Santos as a mature young man lived by the motto “Go big or go home”, it was never a dull moment. His family are extremely proud of his accomplishments in his career in the army with all of his achievement awards leaving his mark. Nathanial loved the army he exemplified leadership, and was a true soldier He never left a brother behind and was always there for everyone.
The family is requesting that in lieu of flowers, a donation in honour of Nathanial be made to Soldier On which is a program of the Canadian Armed Forces Transition Group and is committed to supporting veterans and serving members to adapt and overcome permanent physical or mental health injury or illness through physical activity and sport. Soldier On is recognized for improving the quality of life of the ill and injured and is a highly visible and integral component of the Department of National Defence, and the Canadian Armed Forces’ commitment to the care of ill and injured members.
