Frank and Maria were our neighbours on Lupin in Whitby. I remember so vividly the wonderful childhood memories I had growing up with Frank and my dad chatting over the fence. My dad would teach Frank some English words and Frank would teach dad some Itailian. The smiles and laughter were plentiful. We attended the wedding of Tony, Tina, and Rosa and as a little kid they were the grandest events I had ever been too. It was the first time I saw doves fly at a wedding and a 7 course meal. Again the smiles and laughter were plentiful. Frank and Maria would ivite me over for dinner and I couldn't understand Italian but the heartfelt kindness they showed me was unconditional. Frank taught my dad how to make wine and he was very generous with sharing it with him. I will continue to hold these wonderful times in my pocket of memories. The Albis family were the best neighbours. Frank, Maria, Tom and June are now neighbours again. I believe it will be a beautiful reunion.
