Obituary of Rosaria Martire

Martire, Rosaria, peacefully on Monday January 3rd, 2022 at home in Longobardi (Calabria), Italy with her family by her side. Daughter of late Nicola Martire and the late Carmela Porco. Predeceased by her beloved husband Francesco Provenzano. Loving mother to Carmela Provenzano (Luigi) and Nicola Provenzano (Chiara). Adored Nanna to Giovanna Garritano (Antonello), Rosanna Provenzano (Franco), Francesco Provenzano (Tawney), Nicky Provenzano (Amanda). Rosaria will lovingly be remembered by her 10 great grandchildren. She was loved by her many nieces and nephews and extended family. Born April 4th, 1928 in Longobardi where she lived her entire life. She was a pillar of strength, led by her faith and the great love she had for her family. Rosaria was an extraordinary woman, a hard worker, a wealth of knowledge, she had the biggest heart and always gave the very best advice.  She will be missed dearly. Special thank you to her daughter Carmela who lovingly and compassionately cared for her until the end.

Memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Kidney Foundation of Canada.

Due to Covid restrictions the family will have a memorial mass at a later time.
