I was Makayla's Casa teacher many years ago. I will always remember Ms. Hurst as a wonderful,
and caring mother. She had the very best intentions for Makayla and was so supportive of everything we were doing at school. She was one of the most appreciative parents I have ever had in my class. She was so thankful for anything and everything I did for Makayla. Years later, when I left that campus to move to another, she sent me a beautiful email, once again showing her appreciation. I think of your family often, and how she went out of her way to constantly show me gratitude. She showed time and time again her love for Makayla and her dedication to being the best mother she could be to her.

Jim and Mak- There are no words that can adequately express how any of us feel about Tracy. She was such an incredibly kind, caring woman, who gave her whole heart into all she did and for everyone she knew.
During my pregnancy, there was wasn’t a day that went by that she didn’t check on me and make sure I was doing ok. Asking if I was feeling ok, am I comfortable in my chair, did I need water. She even made sure to buy for me the right oxy spray bleach for getting stains out the baby clothes. That’s her. Caring and giving to everyone. It meant so much to me all she did for me.
Makayla – Your mom was incredible. I am beyond sure you are an amazing young lady who will be just like her mom sharing in the talents she had. There is no doubt that you were her joy. When you were little, and you would get home from school, I remember your mom would call you everyday to ask how your day was. It touched my heart, and every call would end with both you of you saying “I Love You” to each other. Every single day and every single call. I can still hear her voice in my head saying it to you in a singing like melodic way. Her love for you was beyond all, and I hope you keep it close to you always.
We are remembering her with you.
