Obituary of Luisa (Lola) Maria Alves

In loving memory of our Mother Luisa Alves (Lola) who suddenly, but peacefully left this world on Monday, May 16th, 2022 at the age of 64. She was surrounded by her beloved family, husband and children. 

Devoted and loving wife of Victor Alves. Beloved mother of Marta (Mike) , Kyle (Andrea), and Andrew Alves. Cherished Avó of Ethan, Owen, Mikayla, Nico & Luna.

She was a remarkable, caring and selfless loving wife, mother, grandmother (Avó) and friend. Her courage to withstand any hardship and illness in this life is a shining example to us all. A truly resilient woman, she was a pilar of strength. 

The endless love and affection she showered us with is enough to last a lifetime. She cared for everyone around her, always putting their needs above her own. A quality she passed down to her children and grandchildren. The life lessons she taught us will carry us forward. A part of her shall forever remain in our hearts. Like a candle igniting another, her light burns bright in all the lives she touched. We will carry the flame proudly and pass on the love.

We love you so much! Our perfect Mãe, mulher, and Avó . Rest in peace.

Visitation will be held at the De Stefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa (south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595 on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 11:00am - 1:00pm.  A Service to Celebrate Lola's life will be held in the De Stefano Chapel at 1:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Lakeridge Health Foundation, Dialysis Unit would be appreciated.
