Obituary of Vincent Dexter Henry

HENRY, Vincent Dexter Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on February 29, 2016. Loving husband of Gwen Henry. Cherished father of Semica Pascal, Dwight Henry, Dwayne”Emerald”Henry and Taurean Rodney. Beloved son of Velma Calliste and the late Philip Brizan and step son of Oliver Lawrence. Dear brother of Cynthia Henry, Nolan Charles, Junior Alexis, Denis Stephens, Richard Albert, Neil Wells, Miguel Morris, Beverley McMeo, Alicia Paul, Rachael Brizan and Wendy Brizan. Vincent will be lovingly remembered by his aunts and uncles Rufus Carriman, Joan Carriman, Gemma Clarke, Norris Clarke, Claudia Bizzell, Brenda Wilson, David Wilson, and many more; by his nieces and nephews Patrick, Devon, Tayvaughan, Corey, Sofia and many more; by his cousins Noreen, Karen, Vashti, Cathy-Ann, Norrel, Chris, Desmond, Ryan, Roger and many more; and by his in-laws Joan Pascal, Harris Pascal, Gerry, Israel, Alwin, Solange, Deborah, Shawn Jacobs and many more. He will be never forgotten by his life-long friend Reuben Smith and by close family friends Vernie Charles, Faye Noel, the Calliste, Brizan, Southwell/Antonio, Kingston, Charles, Mahon, Lapompe and Telesford families and many more. Visitation will be held at the DeStefano Funeral Home, 1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa(south side of Taunton Road, east of Thornton Road by the Oshawa Airport)905-440-3595 on Friday, March 11th from 2:00-4:00pm and 7:00-9:00pm. A Service to Celebrate Vincent’s life will be held in the DeStefano Chapel on Saturday, March 12th at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Duffin Meadows Cemetery, Pickering.
